Lose Belly Fat Today On Nigerian Diet Without Intermittent Fasting

Gotcha! So you’re probably frustrated with the several weight loss programs that don’t produce ultimate lasting result? So you really are interested in losing weight on a Nigerian diet? You’ve wanted a fascinating meal timetable to guide you on your weight loss journey? Or you’re just troubled with the size of your pot belly? Don’t fret my friend. You’re in the right arena. I had you in mind before putting this information to writing. I’ll request that you simply read through conscientiously to avoid misinterpretation of previously accepted concepts.

A while ago I read a post on weight loss treatment and it was really disappointing there are some well- meaning but dangerous weight loss instructions thousands of people receive every day. From well-meaning friends and family, to desperate weight loss program promoters. A caveat here is this; weight loss is a journey, a process, a system, a program, a marathon, not a hundred meters dash. I’m not going to deceive you about this. You didn’t increase in size suddenly, so you wouldn’t shrink in size suddenly. Most importantly, is the awareness of the several actions (consciously or subconsciously) you take that tend to sabotage your health. You need to have this picture in your mind of a system that innocently responds to what it’s been programed to do as I take you through this vital but verified details.

Lose Belly Fat Today On Nigerian Diet Without Intermittent Fasting

On the long run, intermittent fasting isn’t good for you. You will lose some fat when you engage in intermittent fasting but be rest assured, you’ll gain them back when you resume your standard food timetable because of the low energy stores which can result in depressed moods, sleep problems and even organ damage if the fasting is extreme.

Your body is a simplified but programmed system that simply responds to actions you take (consciously or unconsciously). If you’ll burn your belly fat successfully, over a long duration, you’ll need to understand how your body functions. Then and only then will you lose weight (or lose belly fat) with a relax mind but reinforced knowledge.

According to Relationship and Marriage Expert, New York Times bestselling author of The Five Love Languages, Gary Chapman, every one of us responds more to a particular love language out of the five love languages. If you’re English speaking and were invited as a guest speaker to a business conference in a different non English speaking country, let’s say France. You get into a taxi cab with description to the hotel you’re supposed to be in the next thirty minutes for the conference. The taxi driver speaks French to you saying “Où monsieur?” meaning “Where to sir?” You speak back to him saying “Excuse me, I don’t understand what you just said”. He also looks confused. You both stared at each other in your impasse. You both are sincerely interested in a good rapport, not what seems to going on now. You both are simply in such linguistic quagmire because you’re communicating with different languages.

The same is true in our relationships. We each respond more to specific love languages which interprets our programmed emotional make-up. The five love languages; Acts of service, Words of affirmation, Receiving gifts, Physical touch, Quality time are simply channels through which our love tank is refueled, through which we feel loved and understood. Dr. Gary Chapman recounts the story of a particular couple in his book who were on the verge of a marital collapse, whose difficulties were a repetitive pattern of what he’d always seen. The husband was a nice caring man who did awesome things at home, helped with kids, and many other expectations of an ideal husband but his wife was very bitter, hurt, frustrated and often felt unloved. This had puzzled the husband for many years. In his account of their marriage during the marriage counseling section, he said “I do all these wonderful things for her and still she feels bitter towards me. I’m simply fed up. What else can I do to satisfy her and make her happy?”, and there his wife cried out,” you’ve never told me YOU LOVE ME”. “What!!!” he said, “You mean with all have done for you and still do in the family, you don’t believe I love you?”

You see, I’m deliberate about my drifting off to relationships but I’m driving a point home here. This husband spoke “Acts of service” to his wife, whose primary emotional love language was “Words of affirmation”. I’m sure you get the point now. Seldom do a husband and wife have the same primary emotional love language. We tend to speak our primary love language, and we become confused when our spouse does not understand what we are communicating. We are expressing our love, but the message does not come through because we are speaking what, to them, is a foreign language. Therein lies the problem.

Dr. Gary Chapman emphasizes that you might be a sweet loving husband who takes good care of his family, provides sufficiently, buys his wife beautiful clothes and does all these wonderful things most women crave and still have your wife frustrated, bitter and hurt. Simply because you’re not speaking her primary emotional love language. If your husband’s primary emotional love language is physical touch but you offer more of affirmative words. He will often feel unloved because it’s not what he responds to. You need to give him what he responds to. Enough said on that.

I need you to grasp this straight up. You have excess fat (or belly fat) because of certain actions you’re taking presently and your body, like a programmed system is simply responding to those actions. Actions such as; excess calorie intake, excess carbonated drink intake, excess alcohol intake, etc. You’re not abnormal, you’re only taking actions that leads to excess fat.

With that said, you need also to realize the dangers of excess fat in your body. These dangers will be substantial to convince you on why you need to act fast. They’ll also keep you motivated on your weight loss journey. These results on this list will get you gobsmacked and probably off your butt.

Dangers of Excess Fat (Including Belly Fat).

1. Obesity.

2. Type 2 Diabetes.

3. Hypertension.

4. Liver disease.

5. Reproductive disorders.

6. Heart disease.

7. Mood disorders.

8. Cancer risk.

9. Dyslipidemia.

10. Relationship failures: I know this caught you off guard but know this, I’m a relationship and dating expert, many overweight ladies struggle to maintain healthy relationships. The truth might shock you but I wrote an article on this already.

11. Reduced Life expectancy: According to Medscape.com“ For persons with severe obesity (BMI ≥40), life expectancy is reduced by as much as 20 years in men and by about 5 years in women. The greater reduction in life expectancy for men is consistent with the higher prevalence of android (i.e. predominantly abdominal) obesity and the biologically higher percent body fat in women. The risk of premature mortality is even greater in obese persons who smoke.”

Myths on Weight Loss.

1. Intermittent Fasting.

Lose Belly Fat Today On Nigerian Diet Without Intermittent Fasting

Yes, this is popular on the internet but this is sabotaging your overall health. The biggest causes of belly fat are; high intake of calories, high intake of carbohydrates and high intake of sugar. You simply need to eat the right proportion of these not less. Eat more of what is required not less. According to the National Health Service (NHS), UK, the recommended daily calories limit for men=2500 calories and women=2000 calories.

Let’s do a bit of mathematics here; if a man switches to intermittent fasting diet plan and takes for seven consecutive days less than the required 2500 calories, less say 1750 calories.

The expected calories intake for the week should be;

2500 calories × 7 = 17,500 calories.

Man on intermittent fasting calories intake for the week;

1750 calories × 7 = 12,250 calories.

You are 17,500 calories

-12,250 calories

=5,250 calories deficient.

You need to get this, you’ll lose fat but your muscles will suffer for it. You simply need to eat in right proportions. You might not realize this but you can eat 3–4 times/ days with snacks and still maintain the right body size.

2. Maintain a good Eating Habit.

Nigerian Diet the new solution not necessarily smoothies

I know you’re probably thinking I’m insane but hear me out. You need to know how to prepare the right food. In a country as diverse as Nigeria with various rich cultures and languages, you’ll be amazed if you’ve traveled like I have at the several meal preparations of many tribes.

According to thekitchn.com, “cutting the broccoli into florets doubles the rate of antioxidant loss, so in addition to buying the freshest broccoli you can find and cooking it right away, you should choose whole heads rather than the bags of pre-cut florets”.

According thedailymeal.com, “by the time you go to the grocery store and pick out a head of broccoli, more than 75 percent of its antioxidants will be gone. A study showed that after 10 days- approximately how long it takes for this vegetable to make its way to a supermarket- it starts to lose some of its nutritional value”. You need to take fresh nutritional meals.

According healthline.com, “smoothies and protein shakes are all the rage on social media and in the wellness community. While some smoothies and protein shakes are nutritious and exceptionally healthy, others are loaded with calories and sugar. For example, some premade smoothies contain nearly 14 teaspoons (55 grams) of sugar in just one bottle (450 ml). What’s more, certain protein shakes pack almost 400 calories per bottle (450 ml). Smoothies and protein shakes can be easily consumed too quickly, stuffing your body with excessive calories and sugar. Many people try to cut out high-fat foods when attempting to lose weight. However, research shows that this can be counterproductive. One review determined that low-fat and nonfat foods contained more sugar that regular versions of the same foods. Consuming even small amounts of added sugar can lead to weight gain, blood sugar problems and an increased risk of heart disease. What’s more, dieting and dietary restraint likely increase the chances of future weight gain”.

3. Slimming belts.

Let me teach you how these belts work, then you’ll judge for yourselves. You’ll be familiar with this explanation if you’ve tried these belts out before. You tend to sweat more from your abdomen when you use these belts because they are thick but be rest assured that you lose water weight not fat which will only make you slimmer temporarily. These belts only have a superficial effect on you with transitory results. Know this, you’re not getting rid of the extra fat around your waistline when you use these belts, you’re only losing extra water weight. When you re-hydrate yourself, you’ll watch your belly return to its previous size. You wouldn’t have lost an inch.

Nigerian Diet the new solution not slimming belts

As already iterated in previous articles, there is no scientific claim of spot reduction (losing fat from one body part). Stored fat is only burned in an overall proportion in the body.

4. Thousands of Ab Workouts.

You’ve probably tried this out or know folks who have, yet without lasting result. In case you weren’t told, ab workouts only “build” muscles around the stomach and not “burn” stomach fat. You’re interested in burning not building.

Nigerian Diet the new solution not thousands of Abs Workouts

Spot reduction doesn’t exist as already iterated. Just selecting a portion of the body “your stomach in this instance” won’t burn the excess fat. Your body burns fat in an overall proportion. The results of a six weeks study apparently reveals participants train their abdominal muscles for consecutive 6 weeks and yet there was no measurable effect on the waistline or fat (Visceral and subcutaneous) in the belly.

Causes of Belly Fat.

1. Excess Alcohol Intake.

There are more than enough studies to back this up. You’ll increasingly find it difficult if you can’t do without some of your favorite beer bottles. A study suggests that adults do not compensate appropriately for alcohol energy by eating less, a relatively modest alcohol dose may lead to an increase in food consumption.

2. Hormonal Imbalance.

If you’re probably wondering how this made the list, you’re not alone. There is a strong correlation between belly fat and hormone level. Albeit this is common among women. Without you realizing it, fat storage proliferates in direct proportion to an increase in levels of the stress hormone. As a result of the spike in cortisol level there is a drop in testosterone and insulin sensitivity and an increase in blood sugar and insulin levels. These imbalances spur the storage of more fat around the belly.

Menopause stage in women is yet another great example of hormonal imbalance. The drastic drop in her estrogen levels, during this menopause stage spurs the storage of more fat around the belly, rather than on the hips and thighs.

3. Malnutrition.

Without any doubt this is the leading cause of belly fat. You’re what you eat, they say. As already iterated, when you consume more than the required calories you inevitably compel the body to do justice to the excess calories, which will be to store rather than burn. A great example of this is the popular African disease called kwashiorkor. Where an extreme consumption of carbohydrate is marked by an extreme deficiency in dietary protein. This disease causes the bulging out of the belly.

4. Irregular or No Exercise.

There is definitely no guarantee that we’ll not step across the recommended calorie limit most of the time but exercises are a great way to keep us in a great shape when considered ultimately. Scientific studies have proven time and again that a brisk exercise of 30 minutes walk every day is more than enough to keep us in great shape when combined with healthy food consumption.

Others include Health related issues such as Pcos or Hyperthyroidism, weight inducing drugs with side effects-Anti depressant drugs, pregnancy e.g. baby fat.

What you need to do.

A complete opposite of the leading causes of belly fat will be suggested but that won’t be substantial. If you haven’t heard of the Thermogenic metabolism, you’re not alone.

In this thermogenic weight loss program you’re simply trained to supply your body with low calories but high fiber nutrients dense foods to naturally burn fats. These foods release heat in the body when broken down. You can actively increase your calorie burn rate by triggering thermogenesis in your body.

3 steps process for inducing thermogenic metabolism in your body.

1. You consume fat burning Nigerian foods that are thermogenic and increases your calorie burn rate by up to 30% (plantain with vegetable, moi moi (bean cake), and local rice with vegetable.

2. You eat them in a specific measurement. 50% vegetable, 25% carbohydrates, 25% protein.

3. Perform simple but effective workout at home of 15–20 minutes.
